Sri Yoga Narashimha Vedha Aagama Vishva Vidhyalaya

Sri Krupa Trust's mission is to establish a Vedic University to provide Vedic and modern Education (Metriculation) together to qualified students.We are running a Veda Patasala now in Sholingur. Currently many students have joined and learning Krishna Yajur Vedam and Sri Vaikhanasa Agamam now.

Patasala Location

"Sholinghur or CholaSimhapuram is anciently known as Thirukadigai.Sholinghur is one of the important temple of 108 Divya Desams", this place is ancient, evedent from Puranas itself, Pradyumnam, Devendra and Saptha Rishis worshipped Bhagavan in this place. Sacred poems of the Third Thiruvanthathi of Peyalvar and from ThirumangaiAlvar sung about this Divya Desam Lord Sri Yoga Narashimha swamy. In this holy place, this patasala is located.
Our Guru Brahmasri SB Kalyanaraman Bhattachar ordered to start a Patasala and teach vedas and puranams to our younger generation. We follow his orders and doing this as kainkaryam.

Patasala Main Courses:

I) Veda courses

Vidhyarthi (student) needs to select any one of the main courses given below (only one per student based on his sampradhaya)
This Veda course includes sakai, Ganantharam.

Rikh Vedam.
Yajur Vedam
Sama Vedam
Adarva Vedam

II) Agama courses

Vidhyarthi (student) needs to select any one of the main courses given below (only one per student based on his sampradhaya).
Vidhyarthi can select either Veda course (or) Agama course as main course, both can't be selected. This is the same practise followed in Tirumala, Pillayarpatti, Palani and other major patasalas.

III) Optional subjects

Vidhyarthi (student) needs to select any one of the below optional course in addition to main course.

Below Extra curicular subjects are mandatory for Vidhyarthis (students)

Grandha lipi reading/writing
Sanskrit - reading/writing

Exams:

Agama course students will be evaluvated by Upadyaya every month and progress will be noted.Once Upadyaya is satisfied about the student learnings, Patasala will send student for Agama Exams conducted by Andra Pratesh Government (Exam details given below):

Certificate obtained by Government will be useful for Vedit student in his life time. In addition to that, Patasala will conduct exams by External Upadyayars (Examinor) from other Patasalas. Marks given by External Examinour will be taken as annual result of the student. Based on this, Patasala will provide completion certificate with level marked (Gold, Silver, Copper) with an Peetathipathi signature.

Benifits of Patasala students:

Awards / Certificates given by Patasala for Merit students
Gold Medal / Silver Medal would be provided for best performers (toppers) in final exam. This will be determined by by overall performace considering all annual exams results.
Cash Rewards will be given by Patasala for Excellent Performers in every year.
Private tutions will be arranged for students to study school education and pass secondary (10th) and higher secondary (+2) exams.
Job oppurtunities in temples / vaidheegams would be provided for successfully course completed students.
Financial help to students for their marriage (it is a gift, no needs to refund)

Patasala Fecilities:

Vedic Education and acadamic school Education
Books and study materials

Students needs to bring below items to Patasala:

Dresses (veshtis & Angavasthrams and other necessary stuff - limited quantity)
Blankets, Bed sheets, Sweaters and warm up cloths
Cosmetic items (only required items and limited quantity)
Stationary items (only required items and limited quantity)

Patasala Rules:

Students needs to participate in Annadhanam program of Patasala for once in a year
Students will be given permission to meet Parents once in a month.
Students can talk to their parents once in a week.
If any diciplinary mistakes repeact more than 3 times, then student would be suspended for a week time (deciplinary action would be taken based on issue).

Prinicipal decision is final:

In case of any health issues, patasala will take students to hospital.
Hospital visit and doctor advise needs to be informed to Parents on the same day.
Medical prescriptions needs to be shared to Parents on the same day.
In case health issue is severe, parents can take students back to home and return back once health is normal.

Course Completion Rules:

If student leaves patasala in middle of couse, course completion certificate will not be given.
Even if stuents leaves after 3 years of studying, 3 years completion certificate will not be given.
If only student completes the course in full, Certificate would be provided to students.

Parents Visits - Rules:

Only parents (mother and father) are allowed to meet students.
In case if any relatives want to meet, they needs to inform Principal in advance and get permission.

Patasala Exams / Evaluvation:

Monthly Exams will be conducted to students and progress card will be shared to Partents
Term Exams will be conducted every three months and progress card will be shared to Parents when Parents physically visit patasala.
Annual results will be calcuated based on all monthy and term results (average mark of term results).

Parents - Upadyayar - Students Meet:

Parents needs to meet Upadyayar and Principal atleast once in 6 months.
When ever Parent visit to Patasala, thy needs to have adquate time to meet Updayayar and Principal along with students and get feedback.
Parents/ students needs to follow the advices given in meeting, the same issue should not be repeated in next meeting.

Leave Policies:

If students needs leave, it should be informed to principal in advance.
Maximum of 3 days leave could be allowed for a term.
In case of medical reasons, parents needs to give medical certificate when retrun back to Patasala after medical leave.
